AvPlan includes the ability to add a fix to a map, just like drawing a circle around your current position on a paper map. To create a fix, tap on the location on a map where you are (usually where the aircraft symbol is!). Then from the window that appears, tap ‘Add Fix’.
A little circle with a green box with the current time in UTC will be drawn on the map.
