Add an alternate

To add a flight plan leg to an alternate aerodrome, tap the ‘+’ at the top of the flight plan. The ‘Add Track Point’ window will appear. Tap the ‘Alternate’ button on the row of three buttons, and then type the aerodrome name, and then tap on the result.

This will add that as a leg to an alternate and the row in the flight plan will be coloured grey. When submitted via NAIPS it will be correctly specified as an alternate aerodrome.

AvPlan supports multiple stage flight plans, and an alternate may be specified for all stages if required.
