AvPlan EFB for Android (version 1.0) is now available for download from the Play Store. The Android app has received a complete rewrite from the ground up to make it fast, responsive and support both phone and tablet devices.
AvPlan EFB for Android has been designed with a similar layout to the iOS app, ensuring you will be familiar with the user interface regardless of platform.
Your user content such as flight plans and user notes also synchronise across your devices, regardless of platform.
AvPlan EFB for Android will run on phone and tablet devices running a minimum of Android 5.0 (Lollipop). AvPlan EFB for Android has been tested on a variety of devices (mainly Samsung and Pixel), but be aware that given the diversity of devices using Android we cannot test all device types.
AvPlan EFB for Android supports many of the great features present in AvPlan EFB for iOS Standard subscription, except for multi-stage flight planning and weight and balance calculations. Expect to see these features added very soon as we anticipate a feature release on the Android platform every month.
