Today we have released AvPlan EFB 5.0.1. In this release we have introduced AvPlan Live – live flight tracking in AvPlan EFB. AvPlan Live will send your position every 15 seconds using cellular data networks which can be viewed in the My Flights section of our website.
In addition we have added the ability for AvPlan to remember and reuse your last entered Flight Status (MED1, HOSP, STATE etc) and/or individual flight number call sign if you have one.
We have also fixed a number of software issues;
The airport diagram will scroll into view on the Terminal page on landing in the USA
Fixed reserve fuel numbers are printed correctly when using USG, Lbs or KG for fuel units
An issue with taxi fuel usage and multiple stages has been resolved
An issue with the flight plan routing on the logbook page has been resolved
Fixed an issue where a quick plan via EN will take you to Europe
Fixes for briefings and flight plan submission in NZ
Fuel prices now include self service and non-self service fuel
Issues with the user waypoint editor has been resolved
Auto-zoom for US airfields will work
Fixed an issue where some users need to login repeatedly
Fixed an issue when submitting a Facebook comment on iPhone
We now check the SARTIME when entered to ensure it is reasonable
Fixed an issue which could cause the app to crash when editing a flight plan
User LSALTs/MEAs can be added to flights which track via abeam points
Fixes for the auto-dim function to un-dim when the app is placed in the background
Fixes for the flight profile view for flights with no enroute tracking points
iPhone 5 support added again
