AvPlan EFB 9.8 for iOS is now available from the App Store. In this release the team have added;
- Customisable distance rings around any Airport, navigation aid, waypoint or user waypoint.
- Winds in New Zealand now come from the area forecast winds at or below 10,000ft.
- Add the full ICAO flight plan form when filing IFR plans in New Zealand
- Allow the operation type (G, S etc) to be send per leg
- Add support for uploading flight logs to flysto.net
Custom Distance Rings
Distance rings can now be added around airports, navigation aids etc/ These can be in a number of different colours and can be filled (as per the image on the left) or un-filled.
To add a distance ring on the map, tap on the map and tap on the item on which you would like to create a distance ring. Then tap on Distance Rings to create. The slider allows you to create anything up to 100nm, or tap on the distance to enter any distance.
