In the coming days Apple will release their latest operating system for iPhone and iPad, OS 18. The AvSoft Australia team have performed extensive testing with iOS 18 and have experienced no significant issues with the current AvPlan EFB release, 9.8.4. That being said, we still encourage our users to exercise caution when performing major iOS updates on their flight devices.
- Only update one device at a time
- Only update their primary device once the new iOS is ‘stable’ (Apple will usually release 1-2 updates in quick succession after the initial release). Wait for a fortnight or so to pass.
