It has certainly been a busy few months. We have just released AvPlan 2.1.5 this morning, and it is now available in the App Store as a free update. We have added the ability to send survival equipment remarks with your flight plan, and fixed some minor issues with fuel calculations on long climbs, other flight plan remarks, RAIM details and a few others.
The final touches are going on with our next major AvPlan release. We are greatly extending the capabilities of the app and introducing functionality that is unique to an EFB. Expect to see this in your hands in late March. One thing to note is that we will be supporting iOS 5 and above in this release, so if your device is still running iOS 4, please plan to upgrade it in the coming month.
We are exhibiting AvPlan at the Australian International Airshow at Avalon this year. Come see us in hall 1 during the trade and public days at the show. We will be happy to demonstrate how AvPlan can be used to streamline all your pre-flight, in flight and post flight activities. We can also reveal some of what is coming in the next major AvPlan release, due out in late March 2013.
If you cannot make it to Avalon, come visit us at NATFly in Temora on Easter Friday and Saturday. We will be presenting an introduction session and a deep-drive session on AvPlan at the event, and you can come visit us at our stand. For other planned events, please see our website.
