AvPlan EFB 5.0 includes a LSALT calculator to assist you calculating RNP2 based lowest safe altitudes. To display the RNP2 boundary around a route, double tap on the track line on the map. The boundary will appear, along with the highest known terrain and highest charted obstacle within that path.
You can then calculate the lowest safe altitude, or pro subscribers will see those calculations performed automatically. Once you are happy that the correct values have been calculated, tap Accept to apply the new LSALT to the flight plan.
AvPlan will prevent you from overriding the LSALT on a published route.
